Chris Ward has experience designing and supporting networks that have from three to 10,000 workstations in both local and wide area configurations, with heterogeneous operating systems. He has extensive design and implementation experience with virtualization technologies from VMware, Microsoft, Novell, and others. He possesses an in–depth knowledge of network operating systems including Novell NetWare 3.x–6.x, SuSE Linux, and all MS Windows versions. Chris has expert knowledge of Novell’s eDirectory and related products including ZENworks (desktops and servers), GroupWise (4.x, 5.x, 6.x, and 7.x) and BorderManager (all versions).

Chris has enterprise level experience with Windows 2000 & 2003 Active Directory including upgrading from NT 4 domains, Dir XML connectivity with NDS, and multi–site multi–domain replication. Chris has enterprise experience with Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003, and 2007 including upgrades and migrations from other messaging platforms.

Chris’s background includes numerous implementations of remote access solutions using Windows Terminal services, Citrix Presentation Server, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). He has vast experience with TCP/IP services including DNS, DHCP, WINS, SLP, and LDAP. Chris has experience with many hardware platforms including Compaq, Hewlett–Packard, IBM, and Dell.
