Field Account Manager

As a Field Account Manager you will be working directly with your existing clients and GreenPages leads, selling IT related products, aligning appropriate technology solutions to their corporate goals and objectives. This is an outside sales position where you will be regularly meeting with C-Level individuals at client’s site, to better determine their unique business drivers and challenges. This position works in a team environment, collaborating with your Sales Manager, Project Managers and Sales Engineers.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years outside sales experience in the IT arena with emphasis in the mid market to enterprise market as well as strong familiarity with solution selling in Data Management, Infrastructure and Security. Candidate should also have existing book of business with clients and vendors. In addition, candidates must be self-motivated, eager to succeed and possess strong communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Customer Relationships while identifying Sales opportunities
  • Work extensively with clients and understanding their business objectives and IT goals
  • Forecasting and achieving sales targets and revenue goals
  • Coordinate and conduct sales negotiations
  • Develop and drive sales strategies at account level
  • Participate in company meetings communicating Sales Successes and opportunities

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  • Ability to understand the products, processes and core competencies of GreenPages
  • Understanding all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Broad technical knowledge of corporate infrastructure. Any specializations in the following areas are a plus: Security, Storage, Server-Based Computing, NOS Services and Procurement of Hardware and Software.
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated and energetic
  • Must posses excellent communication skills, both oral and written
