Plus, volume is exploding with enterprise documents doubling every 12-18 months. And if the search doesn’t deliver relevant results, user frustration is increased, often leading to the timely process of document recreation. But until now, enterprise search technologies have been too expensive, complicated, and slow to make implementation feasible.

What Is Enterprise Search?
Enterprise Search is the process in which a search system provides extensive capabilities for searching any number of structured and unstructured data sources with a single query. “Behind the Firewall Search” within organizations has been an industry for 30 years, but the technology was considered as difficult as doing an ERP implementation: the software was expensive, the hardware was expensive, and then you needed to hire smart consultants who knew how to work on it.
