The Simple Solution: VMware ACE

You know, maybe it doesn’t have to be this complicated. In fact, if we agree that it’s reasonable to expect employees in businesses that require travel or telecommuting to provide their own laptop, the answer is remarkably simple: VMware ACE.

VMware ACE is a remote access solution that provides a fully encrypted image that can be booted from a portable device such as a USB flash drive, and thus eliminates any use of the local hard drive on the machine it’s running on.
