GreenPages Technology Solutions Achieves New VMware Competency: Virtualization of Business Critical Applications (VBCA)
Kittery, ME—February 20, 2012—GreenPages Technology Solutions, a national cloud and virtualization consulting and integration firm, announced today that it has achieved VMware’s new Virtualization of Business Critical Applications (VBCA) Competency as part of VMware’s Partner Network Program.
Announced last week at VMware’s Partner Exchange Conference (PEX), the new competency is awarded to partners who have achieved the highest level of expertise around virtualizing business critical applications such as SQL, Oracle databases and applications, SAP, and Exchange.
“As customers begin to complete full virtualization of their infrastructures, they are increasingly looking for help in virtualizing their Tier 1 applications,” said Chris Ward, GreenPages’ Vice President of Consulting and Integration. “Earning this competency ensures that GreenPages can help organizations overcome the (often overwhelming) challenges of virtualizing their most important applications and set up a clear path to hybrid cloud solutions.”
In addition to VBCA, GreenPages also holds VMware competencies in Infrastructure Virtualization, Desktop Virtualization, and Business Continuity.
