GreenPages Technology Solutions One of “Best Places to Work in Maine” Five Years Running
Kittery IT Consulting and Integration Company Ranks in Top Twenty-Eight Companies Statewide; Recognized for Workplace Excellence and Innovation
Kittery, ME—December 5, 2011—GreenPages Technology Solutions, a national IT consulting and integration organization, announced today that it has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Maine.” Run by the Best Companies Group, the “Best Places” program recognizes companies that have established and consistently foster outstanding workplace environments. This is the fifth year in a row that GreenPages has been awarded a spot on the list.
“It is extremely exciting to be on this list for a fifth consecutive year,” said Belinda Braley, GreenPages’ Vice President of Human Resources. “We appreciate the feedback our employees take the time to provide, and this recognition speaks volumes about the strong culture we have developed at GreenPages.”
Because all of GreenPages’ corporate IT functions (both voice and data) are able to operate from any location, the company is uniquely positioned to offer employees flexible work schedules with the option of working from home. The company is also growing, adding talented IT professionals and engineers (20 since April) to ensure its customers across the U.S. receive the highest level of IT solutions possible.
Finalists for the “Best Places to Work in Maine” were assessed by the Best Companies Group. Entrants were ranked on policies and procedures as well as responses from the GreenPages’ employees. The program marks the most recent step in a long-term initiative to encourage growth and excellence throughout all Maine companies.
GreenPages accepted the award at The Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) Maine State Council’s awards and recognition dinner. Program partners included the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, Employment Times, SHRM Maine State Council, and Mainebiz.
“The information technology labor market in our industry is extremely competitive, and we know that in order to attract and retain top talent we must use this feedback thoughtfully and continue to work to remain an employer of choice. The fact that our employees are truly our strongest asset is not something we take for granted,” added Braley.
Now in its sixth year, the “Best Places” program is a long-term initiative intended to encourage growth and excellence throughout all Maine companies.
