GreenPages Technology Solutions Qualified to Resell and Implement Vblock Infrastructure Packages
GreenPages to Help Customers Transition to Private Cloud with Integrated IT Infrastructures from VMware, Cisco and EMC
Kittery, ME—July 1, 2010—GreenPages Technology Solutions, an IT consulting and engineering organization, today announced it has joined the Vblock partner ecosystem, a community of partners that are qualified to augment, resell, and deliver Vblock™ Infrastructure Packages. These packages are an element of the Virtual Computing Environment coalition formed by VMware, Cisco, and EMC. Now GreenPages can help customers accelerate their plans to implement a private cloud infrastructure based on industry-leading technology and take advantage of the critical IT efficiencies this provides.
Vblock Infrastructure Packages are integrated, tested and validated data center infrastructure offerings that combine best-of-breed virtualization software from VMware, unified networking, security, computing from Cisco, and storage, security and management technologies from EMC—all with end-to-end vendor accountability. Vblock Infrastructure Packages support a broad range of operating systems and applications that enable customers to rapidly migrate existing applications to Vblock infrastructure to accelerate broad-scale data center virtualization.

The Vblock Infrastructure Packages were developed by the Virtual Computing Environment coalition, which was formed jointly by Cisco and EMC, together with VMware. The coalition represent an unprecedented level of collaboration across development, services and partner enablement that helps minimize the risks in the infrastructure virtualization journey of customers to private cloud implementation.
