Michael Halperin Joins GreenPages Technology Solutions As Vice President of Managed Services
Kittery, ME—June 2, 2011—GreenPages Technology Solutions, a national IT consulting and integration company, announced today that Michael Halperin has joined the organization as Vice President of Managed Services. In this role, Michael will be responsible for leading the Managed Services division’s engineering and operations teams, strengthening its services portfolio, and driving growth objectives.
An IT Services specialist with more than 20 years of industry experience, Michael has led the build-out and transformation of multiple IT Services businesses. His management experience includes executive roles with start-up, mid-sized, and Fortune 100 firms. Most recently, Michael was Managing Partner at Cogent Growth Partners, a buy-side merger and acquisition advisory firm focused on the IT Services space. In 2009 and 2010, Michael was named to the MSPmentor 250 in recognition of his leadership in the Managed Services industry.
“We’re extremely pleased to welcome Michael to our executive team,” said Ron Dupler, GreenPages’ CEO. “His vision and leadership skills will help GreenPages successfully meet the increased demand for Managed Services we’re seeing in the marketplace.”
In 2009, GreenPages acquired the VAR division of Boston-based Managed Technology Partners (MTP)—a move that accelerated GreenPages’ unified communications, virtualization, and data center strategy. GreenPages’ Managed Services business is key to helping solidify it as one of the top IT consulting and integration companies in the Northeast. In February 2011, GreenPages was named to the MSPmentor 100 list of top Managed Service Providers worldwide.
“GreenPages’ strength in the marketplace speaks volumes about the challenges inherent in supporting complex, virtualized, enterprise IT environments,” said Halperin. “And as more organizations move into the cloud, they need guidance and ongoing operational support from companies that have the necessary technical processes in place, outstanding organizational agility, and engineers who understand how technologies interact across the entire infrastructure and into the cloud. GreenPages is uniquely positioned to excel in this space and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
