VMware Names GreenPages “Solution Provider of the Year” in the Americas for Excellence in Virtualization & Cloud Computing Integration & Delivery
GreenPages CEO Ron Dupler Named “Partner Executive MVP” at VMware Partner
Exchange 2011
Kittery, ME—February 15, 2011—GreenPages Technology Solutions, a national IT consulting and integration organization, announced today that it has been named “Solution Provider of the Year” in the Americas by VMware. The award was presented at VMware Partner Exchange 2011, VMware’s annual partner event in Orlando, Florida. GreenPages won the award based on its year-over-year virtualization solutions growth, excellence in providing technology solutions across the entire VMware portfolio, and overall commitment and expertise in delivering virtualization solutions to customers across the U.S.
“Earning the ‘Solutions Provider of the Year’ award is a tremendous honor for GreenPages and a testament to the talent we have within our organization,” said Ron Dupler, GreenPages’ CEO. “As we continue to transition into a professional services company, VMware remains core to our technology portfolio and our ability to design and deliver virtualization solutions across the enterprise technology infrastructure and into the cloud.”
In addition to the “Solution Provider of the Year” designation, VMware named Dupler its “Partner Executive MVP” for outstanding leadership, technology vision, and business innovation. “Our strong working relationship with VMware enables us to better facilitate our customer’s IT and business initiatives —it’s a critical differentiator,” said Dupler.
This is the third year in a row that VMware has publically recognized GreenPages. In 2009, VMware named GreenPages its “Desktop Virtualization Partner of the Year” for VDI engineering and delivery excellence. GreenPages also won VMware’s “2010 Rainmaker Award” for driving virtualization initiatives in customer environments. GreenPages is a VMware Premier Partner—VMware’s highest partner level status, and a member of both VMware’s Partner Technical Advisory Board and VMware’s Partner Advisory Council.
