Kittery, ME—Nov 2, 2017—GreenPages, a leading IT transformation and hybrid cloud services provider announced today that VMware has awarded Chris Williams, Enterprise Consultant, the vExpert Cloud specialist designation as part of its vExpert program.
VMware’s vExpert program is a global evangelist and advocacy program that recognizes individuals who demonstrate significant contributions to the technical community, including public speaking, training, book writing, interviews and videos, forum moderation, online knowledge exchange, social media activity, and VMware event leadership.
Holding a current vExpert designation is a prerequisite for any of the three specialty vExpert sub programs: Cloud, VSAN, and NSX. As a Cloud vExpert, Williams was singled out for his influencer activities around the advantages of implementing VMware, AWS, and other multi-cloud environments. Of the 1200 vExperts VMware awarded this year, only 134 achieved the Cloud designation globally.
